stitchy and I satisfied our inner screaming thirteen-year-olds....
First there was this:
And Mr. AJ Maclean in particular got a hella lot of cheers (this is LA, after all) when his audience pick to be serenaded was a guy:
And of course the alternating other half of the concert was this little-known group:
And guess who showed up (causingstitchy to burn her voice out screaming)?
Why, yes, that is in fact Kevin Richardson on the right performing with the other Boys! That's two for two for our most recent BSB concerts. The crowd went wild.
There wasn't nearly enough time with the two bands on stage at the same time; mostly they were trading off sets, with only a couple of collaborative songs. One thing I would've loved to happen that didn't is them singing each other's songs.stitchy and I amused ourselves by speculating who gave Nick sugar &/or caffeine before the show; he was hyper! Jon, OTOH, was not "on" tonight. Poor fellow. Still, though, I think this qualified as a pretty good concert, and while I'm not going to the (closer!) one on Wednesday, if the tour decides to take another swing through the LA area in a while, I'll probably go again.
And my ears have almost stopped ringing, so I think I shall proceed bedwards now....

Date: 2011-07-02 02:48 pm (UTC)*squeal* I've been a fan of BSB and admittedly NSYNC, when they were together of course, since I was about 7.
I would kill to be able to go to one of their concerts. Oh! That looks like it was so so much fun!
