Just got back from the gym. It was brilliant. There were only three other people there.
So, today I had my dance class this morning. I've got the grapevine step down, but doing the Arabic step while moving my hands at a much slower rate is defeating me. Must practice. Afterwards, I went to the farmer's market. The Asian vegetables people are still sadly missing, but the mushroom guy was there! Bought a bag of shiitakes to go in tomorrow's quiche. ^_^ Wonderful Husband and I finally went to the $2 theater to see Captain America, which was actually quite good. I've been kind of hesitating on it and Thor because Iron Man 2 left me with a, mm, shall we say less than stellar taste in my mouth, a large part of which is due to wow, Pepper suddenly became such a weak character. I can't exactly pinpoint when I started turning into such a feminist regarding the television and film depictions of women, but somewhere along the way I have. But I liked the relatively strong female lead in this and thought the film overall stood up quite well. I kind of want Peggy to still be alive (though in her 90s) and for her and Steve to get in that dance somehow, but I doubt it's going to happen.
Poking at words until I wind down from endorphin high, then going to bed.
