More names that have been considered: Sprite (for the soot sprite smushed atop his head), Licorice, Little F*ck, Miles (for the hyperactive tendancies), Lim, London (to go with Paris), Paper (for the number he's done on both a receipt and a paper crane)....

I was actually thinking Miles Vorkosigan from Lois McMaster Bujold's books.

"Aren't you a little short to be a Stormtrooper?" :) *considers, then dismisses "Stormtrooper" as a name for him*

He's about as short as any kitten his age, so probably not. Though he has demonstrated a talent for climbing (my trousers, my shirt, the dining chair rungs...) so maybe Miles might not be that unapt of a name for him after all.
