Hmm. Repairables...

Does anyone know anything about repairing paper lanterns? The one in our bedroom suffered a touch of damage today and since it's a neat hexagonal shape with bamboo painted on the sides I'd rather not get rid of it. I know I'm supposed to use paste and just apply a new piece of rice paper to the interior, which sounds simple enough, but... what kind of glue or paste? And where do I get (white) rice paper from for the repairs? Any help on either of these questions would be appreciated.

Paint the glue on with a small paintbrush, too. Forgot to mention that.

Excellent! Thank you very much--I have both white glue and white tissue paper on hand, so I can attempt repairs tonight. ^_^

Welcome! Lemme know how it turns out. ^_^ Make sure you let it dry completely before hanging it from any heat source, lest it singe the wet glue.
