Our fansubbing group, Fushigichan Fansubs, can finally call ourselves a real group! We have a website and have started releases!

In any case, please feel free to download and watch our first production, the Ultraman Moebius movie. Because I think the series is really really cool and have been pimping it to anyone reading this journal for months anyway, and the movie more or less acts as a standalone piece and you don't need to have watched the TV series to follow it. (We plan to tackle the TV series after most of our group goes to and returns from Japan.) And if you do download it and watch, we hope you enjoy!

I think, if you don't mind, that we'd prefer you to direct people to the website. Mainly so that we can keep a sufficient seeder/leecher ratio for downloads to go pretty quick.

Is this movie a good start for folks who haven't seen any Moebius?

It's pretty stand alone. sakon76 recommends watching the first two episodes first, just so you know who the characters are. I think except for Mirai most of the rest of the Crew are slightly off-character, so I don't know how much help that would be or not anyway. (The movie was filmed while they were still putting the TV series together, so they hadn't entirely solidified down the characters in my opinion.)

BTW, now that I'm not being overwhelmed by evil job + planning for Japan + Fanime + getting the movie subs done I want to get together with you at some poitn to start showing you some of this stuff! :) (And 'cause I haven't had time to sit down and hang with you since, like, when? Yeah...)
