Happy Earth Day!
Apr. 22nd, 2006 01:46 pmWonderful Husband is wonderful because, among many other things, he has the ability to find fabric that I have hidden even from myself, buried in the middle of other fabric. And to hold me and make me feel better when I'm crying myself to sleep.
In honor of it being Earth Day, I fiddled in the garden a bit, clearing out dead growth on my oregano, chocolate mint, and lemon balm plants and transplanting the latter two into bigger pots because mint family plants are always greedy for more space. I also put my two habenero plants in pots--habeneros produce lots and lots and lots of fruit, so I'm not worried about them being in pots. The tomatoes and other peppers I want in the ground, though.
Also (not in honor of Earth Day) have gotten caught up with the laundry, all the pots and pans and toasters and grills and whatnot are put away in the kitchen, and I cooked dinner last night (hamburgers and oven fries and green salad) and may do so again tonight, depending on how much sewing I can get done. Tomorrow afternoon I go to stuff packets for Costume College. And if I'm lucky, somewhere in this weekend I might be able to walk properly again, and may rent a movie and pop some corn to eat while watching it.
