I Don't Get It

The classic Chanel jacket. I don't get it. Why do so many women look at this as the ultimate in style and chic? It's a boxy jacket made of ugly, lumpy fabric, and it absolutely does not flatter a woman with curves. In fact, I'm not certain I've ever seen anyone wear the style and not look dowdy.

Can anyone explain to me the appeal?
