Went back in and expanded what I'd written yesterday, making the aftermath scene much more effective by tackling it for multiple viewpoints. Also solved the dangling little questions of where was Susse during that, and where the heck has Kitty been since getting hit by that vision. (Answer to the latter: unconscious, and waking up in her room to find Owen keeping watch. Got to get in a nice little bit there about how her female powerless peasant family origins make her view of waking up to a man in her room offering her a drink somewhat different than Owen's view on the same. She has grown up in a somewhat harsher reality than most of the people in this book. I suspect Tamora Pierce would approve.)
