Friday evening I met up with a few people to go see Transformers on the local IMAX. I am reminded of why I almost never *go* to the Irvine Spectrum. The parking there is worse than at West Quay in Southampton on Boxing Day. --;; While the two minutes' extra footage wasn't that great (amusing at best, it really added nothing to the story), it was cool to see and hear the film in IMAX quality. That makes showing #5. ^^;; And I got home just before the rain started pouring down. Good timing!

Saturday Wonderful Husband and I drove up to the Ahmanson Theater in LA to see "Avenue Q," my birthday present to him. It was quite enjoyable, but somewhat disconcerting to realize that probably only a tenth of the audience knew what to expect. It was obvious in the way everyone laughed too loudly....

Today, with Wonderful Husband's aid, I finally got the patio area cleaned up. All the ironing is finally done, and the last load of laundry (quilt, blanket, rugs) is tumbling dry at the moment. The house isn't clean, and likely will never be fully clean, but I like to pretend it's moving that way by inches.
