Oct. 30th, 2003 02:26 pmWell, have finished translating from the script with an hour and a half to go before work (got called in to work for the sole high school student because she has so much homework this week, but it's okay because I like her and told her I'd cover for her if needs be), so am printing it out so that I may rewatch the episode with translation in hand and catch any mistakes and start working on that last couple minutes plus preview plus OP and ED and then I'll be done and can hopefully call it an early night as opposed to the last two nights. ^^
And I am drinking my lake-o-tea at the moment and being quite happy about it. You know those giant mugs that are generally used for soup? Well, I use mine for hot tea. At the moment my preferred blend is one package each of mint and green tea, no sweetening or milk, and it's going rather a long way towards soothing my throat.
My mother also showed me the first episode of "Tarzan" last night. The writing's a bit formulaic and what isn't formulaic is so very "Beauty and the Beast" (ahhh, Vincent...) but I like it for the way the guy playing Tarzan moves and the way the camera work accentuates that, and the potential of the storyline which, sadly, because it always is in these things like "Smallville" and "Roswell," will never be mined to its fullest wonderful potential. But hey, it's a springboard to dream from, and, really, who needs more than that?
