Bleagh. At least my immune system waited to crap out until after Wonderful Husband was mostly better? And at least the worst part of it (fever and the chills) broke overnight.

Still, I'm thankful that Wonderful Husband can telecommute for his job and be the primary caretaker for Squiddle when I get knocked flat. I'm also a touch miffed: breastfeeding is supposed to give me some increased immunity, and I got a flu shot this year. Yet I've been sick twice since Squiddle was born.

I knew breastfeeding was good for baby immunity, but not that it worked (or is supposed to work) the other way around - hope at least it'll give you a boost on recovery? Get well soon!

Gyeagh! Hope you kick this bug fast! Some kind of crud has been making its way around work. I've dodged it so far...

Whatever's going around this year is Nasty. I hardly ever get sick, but ALA was round 3 for me, and I haven't been completely well since mid-December. And since the flu shot only protects you from a certain strain (or only a couple), it's not much defense against the mutations. I also think the dry winter isn't helping, so yay for that.
