Feeling Lopsided
Nov. 14th, 2013 01:11 pmNot being overly obsessed with my body, if my chest was lopsided before having a baby, I never noticed. Now, however, at night I wear a bra whose cups are quite fitted, and have realized, hmm, the left side moves about more freely than the right.
Then on top of that I started pumping milk so I have a store for, say, Wonderful Husband to be able to feed the baby when needs must (like when I start my writing class again in January), or so that we can leave Squiddle with his grandparents so we can have a date night or, as we're doing tonight, go take a CPR class. And I found that the slightly smaller side gives less content. On a ratio varying from 1:2 to 1:5! And feeding the baby more often from that side doesn't seem to up the volume it gives. Not that Squiddle ever seems to feel he doesn't get enough from that side, so I suppose it's all good.
Still, adding this to my mental list of "God, the human body is strange," being amused, and moving on.
