Splish Splash, We Were Takin' A Bath...

Like many little boys, Squiddle does not like taking a bath. He does not like baths one little bit, no he does not! And he's not shy about letting his dislike be known. So tonight we experimented with me sitting on the floor of the shower and washing him that way/there with the warm water falling down all around us.
Somewhat surprisingly, this worked and nary a cry of protest was heard. I suspect it's a combo of the white noise of the running shower, his being held in someone's arms the entire time, and (Wonderful Husband posits) a minimal difference between the water temperature and the air temperature. Regardless, hooray, we have figured out something that works!
Last night we watched Shield episode 2. I liked the flip on my initial expectations of who blew the hole in the plane. I also LOVED Nick Fury's post-credits scene. Particularly the line about it being a really nice bar. ^_^ But... forget him and Hill and the Avengers. What inquiring minds really want to know is, when is Stan Lee going to cameo? :) Also, given that Coulson keeps repeating that Tahiti was "magical," I'm wondering if the mystery of what happened to him is somehow going to tie in to the Scarlet Witch being in Avengers 2.
Tonight I continued on whittling down the backlog of Grimm with the episode Danse Macabre. Wonderful Husband isn't attached enough to keep watching every episode with me, but I called him in when I shrieked with laughter about the not!DeadMau5 DJ character. I like how the writers keep a continuity within the show. Monroe playing the cello last episode is brought forth here, as is Hank noticing real estate and Nick noticing cars. I like how Nick and Monroe are slowly growing an actual friendship. And I also love, LOVE, that the show has a sense of humor both about and within itself. The reason I dropped Once Upon A Time like a hot coal was that it didn't.

Personally, I doubt it'll have anything to do w/ Wanda. Which would be ironic as the celloist he was dating in IM2 was named Wanda, and Wanda Maximov/Scarlet Witch has been noted to play cello (or at least strings)
