Oct. 22nd, 2003 04:12 pmHave caved. Now possess Barbie: Dolls of the World "Princess of Japan." It's an Asian Barbie wearing a kimono. Resistance was futile.
Also purchased a silver oranda. Was looking wistfully at sharks and tetras and the 55-gallon tank including everything but gravel, plants, water, and fish for a mere $160, but am holding firm--no new fishtanks until after move is complete. *Then,* however, we shall see about setting up a tropical tank.
As we get older my sister and I (who hated one another through the entirety of our teenage years) share more and more hobbies. Cats (well, we always both had a thing for cats), sewing, costuming, writing, keeping fish....
