All This For Some Bits Of Plastic
Mar. 14th, 2013 08:36 pmBeing at work at the time of this chat, I had to wait until I get home to reg. By the time I am, the TFCC site has a note for non-members that they'll have their membership system back up and working on Monday.
Now, I'm going to the con to hang out with friends. I don't care about the toys. Therefore, an acquaintance of an acquaintance will be covering the cost of convention registration for me, and I'll be sending him all the inherent swag. The difference between TFCC member and non-member is about $85 and I suspect there's something more available to TFCC members. However, it isn't my money I'm spending, so I shot him an e-mail to see how he wants me to proceed. Particularly since
I already knew I hated how BotCon was run. It's merely deepening that impression this year....
