Mar. 22nd, 2003 10:18 amIt has been a few days since I've written in here. Let's see--news.
My fiance and I have recieved approval for his visa to come to America so he and I can get married. Just shy of three months after submission. I think the government must've had a typo that read we'd be notified within *two* months, but now that it's here I really don't care about that typo anymore.
I stayed up very late last night watching the last third of .hack//SIGN and hand-sewing down the fleur de lis on my Ovelia costume. I have six done now out of something like twenty-two. The gown's been through a washing or two since I made it, so there's tiny bits of fraying at points and corners that have to be painstakingly dealt with. Finishing .hack was gratifying, and I do want to know what further happens in the universe, though I'm not exceptionally enthused about what I've heard regarding Legend of Twilight's Bracelet. I unfortunately have come to the conclusion that I now *like* BT, which is bad because it means I want to cosplay her. And, hmm, I do have green and white fabric lying around in scads, don't I? Grr. Will have to debate on this. I was also very amused by how the writers carried through with the complcation of the question of what Bear's job is in the real world--and never answered it! That's evil genius at work there. ^^ I also ended up wondering about the moral message of what happened to Sora in the last episode, which I'll not go into detail about here because I know that people read this who don't want spoilers.
In any case, I should get offline and get started with everything I have to do today. Spring break is a busy time. Finish rearranging sewing/computer room, dig up garden beds, and sewing sewing sewing. Plus a writing challenge to myself.
