Things That Suck, and Things That Don't
Sep. 27th, 2012 12:03 pmI'm now on day two of staying home sick. Partly because it was pointed out to me that one of my coworkers is going through chemo right now and really shouldn't be around sick people. I don't seem to have a temperature, but I've been through varying stages of nausea, nasal congestion, ears popping, full-body ache, sore throat, and just generally feeling like crud. So some variant of the flu, probably. Fun stuff.
I've been sleeping a lot, and when awake catching up with online things, taking de-tailed lizards away from the cats (okay, away from Paris), having oatmeal for breakfast (which I don't often get because it takes more time than pouring a bowl of cereal), and passing the time with a head that feels like an overinflated balloon.
Things that are awesome, BTW: PBS' Icons Remixed video series.
