Yep! And it's amazing what some people have and what others consider optional... I was trying a new brownie recipe at Best Friend's house a couple weeks ago, and they don't have a proper balloon whisk! All they have is the attachment for a hand mixer that they no longer have, or the stand mixer. This was something that was too small a volume for the stand mixer, but I didn't necessarily want my hand that close to... (not to mention the cramps!) Okay, granted, mine needs replacing as it's starting to rust... but it's still useable.

BTW, what is a bacon press?

Well, if it's what I interpreted it to mean, a bacon press is a flat rectangular piece of cast iron (with a handle!) that you put on top of the bacon in the pan to weigh it down and keep it flat while it cooks. I mostly use mine on steaks, to help them sear faster.

Ah, I know what you mean now. Yeah, don't have one. Mom never used it, and I don't cook bacon. LOL I can't handle the spitting.

I have none of these. What does that say about me?
