If Saturday was for faffing about, Sunday was for getting stuff done. To the tune of fifteen of the twenty-four items on my list accomplished, and also a slew of smaller items that didn't even make the list. Which included plenty of the yardwork I've been neglecting, which led to a sunburn on my back. Hooray for green aloe goo.
In the late afternoon, Wonderful Husband and I took a break and went to a movie before it left the theaters. We ended up seeing The Pirates: Band of Misfits. And, well, the stop-motion animation was good, and we were amused by some of the signs and ninja!Victoria. But overall, we don't see how it's ended up with 86% on Rotten Tomatoes. There were too many gaps, things not followed up on, and the movie couldn't decide if they were warm fluffy pirates or, as Wonderful Husband put it, "murderous bastards." The film just didn't engage either of us. One of those "apparently our mileage does vary" situations.
