No Sakon translation tonight. However I got through the first third of the test in a block once I actually sat down to do it. Translation from video, I'm discovering, requires fine-tuning one's skills with the rewind, play, and pause buttons, playing sections with unfamiliar words or fast speech over and over again until you can get all of it, and the use of both of my non-kanji dictionaries. V. educational. I think so far I'm not doing too badly. Between dinner and chores and wrangling my grandmother into bed, I didn't get to spend too much actual time on the project tonight. More tomorrow. Hopefully "the rest" tomorrow!
