The relatives have gotten wind of the Queen Mary plans. My sister claims that she hasn't told them, so that leaves my mother as the leak. ^^;;;;;;;; Shall I say that my relatives are, well, "enthusiastic"? Have set up another meeting with Dionne to look at other possible rooms for the reception. Well, if my parents are paying for the reception and my mother wants all-in-one-location convenience over a lower cost, I'm not going to argue.

Sunday at the OCMC (my workplace) there's going to be a small bridal expo. Right after I get off work, even. How convenient.

And then Tuesday morning is fabric district raid.

In the meantime, I am in search of a white Chinese paper parasol, and about 60 or so white paper folding fans. If anyone can direct me towards possible sources, I would be grateful.

Try the Oriental Trading Compay (I think that's their name...). They sell lots of party-good type stuff. I don't know their url offhand, but they'd be pretty easy to find with a Google search.

I didn't tell!! :P I don't really have a chance to talk to relatives... :P So blame it on mom... :)
We can probably find the fans and maybe parasol at the fabric district... I'm thinking that store that seems to have oodles and oodles of ribbon... and there's a bridal-type store down there, too... we'll look on tuesday... :)

Certainly can look in fabric district. Don't forget that we're also browsing the floral district. Wanna go to dance guild with me that night? It's fun. You can drag Anthony along. ^^
