Sourdough Brekky
Apr. 8th, 2012 11:28 amSince I have a sourdough culture going and have heard of it a few times on various blogs, this morning (well, last night, actually; it takes an overnight lead time) I decided to make sourdough pancakes for breakfast.
Not bad. An almost floral taste of sourdough to the pancakes. Liquidy batter, though, and the pancakes weren't very thick. Unless I do buttermilk pancakes, in fact, I find properly puffy pancakes nigh-impossible.
Now, out to don the hat and gloves and dig more amendments into the garden....
