Inverse Bedhead
Jan. 6th, 2012 07:01 pmAfter a few years of despair, long ago, as my hair changed color from towhead blonde to dishwater blonde, and some latent weeping because it's so very fine, I eventually came to love my hair and wouldn't change it for a million bucks. (Well, maybe for a million bucks. But no one's seen fit to offer me that yet. I'll let you all know if and when someone does.) My hair is long, healthy, has stress-free management, I actually quite like the silver streak that's been growing in the center, and it has just enough tendency to curl that it often looks fabulous to me.
And sometimes, sometimes when I take a shower in the evening and go to bed with my hair unbraided and still damp... I look in the mirror in the morning and wish I didn't have to comb it out. Because damn but it looked good.
