I spent yesterday evening cleaning the office. And it looks much better. Tonight I spent cleaning my desk. Yet somehow, despite the fact that I now have my stack of to-edits tidy and in order, and have been tossing papers into the recycling left, right, and center, it doesn't look any better than when it started. Marginally less dusty on the right half, perhaps?

Obviously my desk is a a local nexus of disorder and chaos. Possible patron sponsors are Elder Gods, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, or Delirium....

Does that mean I can blame your nexus for my house never being tidy? Or are you too far away and I have to have my own?

I think chaos nexii are like artesian wells, popping up naturally here and there across the landscape to relieve the strain incurred by forces deep within the Earth. Therefore, given the distance, you probably have your own.... :)
