sakon76Sometimes families ask for us to clip a lock of hair from their loved ones prior to cremation. Okay, fine, no problem, you can pick it up when you pick up the ashes and/or death certificates.
Except when we ask the crematory to do so, and they tell us "Um, can't," and we call over to the hospital and confirm and then have to call the family back and say "His head was shaved for medical purposes prior to his death...."
And then the family says "Oh. Okay. Um, what about his chest hair?"
And our office collectively stops and gives a flat "Did I just hear what I thought I heard?" stare because ew....
