sakon76Got a lot of stuff done yesterday. Also have a lot of stuff that didn't get done, but isn't that kind of par for the course? The most vital chores got completed, anyway. Including editing another ten pages to toss to my writing class this week. The fun bit was rewriting two entire scenes from one character's point of view into another's. The first was because it was very not clear who had the PoV to begin with... and the other was because Sparrow is a single-appearance character. There was no point in giving the PoV to him instead of Higami. (Yay, firebaby finally appears!)
I also wrote more on Deus Ex Machina 6, bringing it up to about 3/4 done. Tossed in a tiny new fun bit about Maggie. I shall have the only Transformers story EVER to mention Branston Pickle! :) I also wrote rather a lot about Mikaela.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
femme4jack seemed to think it was all awesome, so hopefully others will too. I don't think I have any Mik-haters reading the story. Or at least not commenting on it. (I do, in fact, find the concept of Mikaela-haters somewhat confuddling. Bayverse Carly-haters, OTOH....) I think the chapter needs two, maybe three more scenes, and then it's done and ready for posting. Sam asking Optimus about that realization he (Sam) came to last chapter, a second hit on what Maggie and Glen are digging up, and then a serious scene, either OP talking to dignitary type people, or Sam deciding about the whole college thing. Actually, thinking about it, I think I'll do the first and have it affect the second in chapter 7. Now just to write it!
Tonight after work I hit the photocopy shop and then zoom home because we have someone coming out to give us a quote on the bathroom remodel. Maybe. Hopefully. Given that we've had two different companies say they'll do so and then blow us off three times each, I'm getting a little bit jaded. And sooner or later I'm going to broadly hint to Wonderful Husband to just give a flat "sod off" to anyone who cold-calls us with quote offers. I suspect we've somehow gotten on someone's list, and it's ticking me off.
