*throbthrobthrob* goes the pain
Jun. 8th, 2011 08:36 pmMy Wednesday night writing class ended last week. Wonderful Husband takes a Wednesday night ice skating class, and as this was the last class of this session, it was "bring a friend" night.
I apparently can still only do fifteen minutes on my ice skates before being reduced to the pain point of tears and having to take them off. The accompanying tension headache is not helped by the sheer noise of the rink, nor by the cold. The instructor for us guests didn't help by remarking that it took her nearly two years to break in her skates. Wonderful Husband's never caused him any discomfort.
I used to be able to skate. Why the hell are personal skates that cost nearly $200 so much more painful than even the crappy rentals?
What is wrong with my feet? What is wrong with me?
