Botcon, Day 2

Did a bit of shopping this morning and managed to find and purchase my coveted TFA Prowl toy. Considered going to the Transformers: Prime script reading panel, but I knew it was either that or autographs, so I chose the latter. Peter Cullen autographed my DVD of the first film, and also gave me a kiss and a hug! Sweetest man alive, I swear. Unfortunately by the time I got out of that line (I was 80 of 140) the lines for the other TF:P actors were closed. I would've liked to get Kevin Michael Richardson's autograph as well (on my Lilo and Stitch DVD...) but ah well. C'est la vie. The TF:TM panel was amusing, especially the part where the panelists recognized Paul Eiding (Perceptor) in the audience and chivvied him up onstage with them. I jotted down something Flint Dille said to reuse in a fanfic, and Paul Eiding gave us the wonderful mental image of ballerina Perceptor which, as kenyastarflight told the panelists, will inspire a thousand fanarts. :) I also not-quite-pounced Derrick Wyatt and he signed my TFA season 1, and ohohoh! It looks like TFA season 3 will finally be getting a DVD release!

Speaking of, I got to meet more wonderful creative women today! There's like a whole contingent of us! In no particular order, I've gotten to hang out IRL with mdnytrider, mmouse15, naggingfishwife, flybystardancer, femme4jack, okami_myrrhibis, hoshikage, tainry, autumnconstance, eerian_sadow, wicked3659, ante_luce, amidoh, lady_katana4544, twilit_wanderer, kenyastarflight, dragondancer515 and probably several others who've slipped my mind ATM. So many incredible, intelligent, creative women who are into this same fictional universe I am! EeeeEEEEeeee!

Then, after a group dinner, there was the Hall of Fame event. Which had some great music videos for the inductees that I hope will make it onto YouTube. And Peter Cullen came in and got a standing ovation before the event even started! Tyrese Gibson was there (making him, as okami_myrrhibis noted, three for three on movie years), and Michael Bay. And we got ~20 minutes of 3-D footage from the new movie, which looks like it will be utterly, utterly awesome. BeetransformingandcatchingSamandtransformingbackaroundhimSQUEEEEEEE~!!!!!

In short, awesomeness.
