My feet hurt. I just got out of a warm shower, so the rest of me is not hurting as much at the moment; we'll see how tomorrow goes.

(Tomorrow, wherein I am finally going to the RenFaire this year, with Wonderful Husband and my bellydance instructor and possibly her husband as well.)

But today. Today was spent at (1) bellydance class, (2) estate sales, (3) on the phone with my AAA insurance agent about my claim re: getting rearended at a stoplight yesterday on my home from work, and (4) gardening.

(About #3, it was like a 10mph or less collision; both of us unhurt, merely a bit of damage to our bumpers. AAA has concluded I was not at fault so it's not going to effect my insurance rates, and they're going to cover the entire cost of my bumper repairs.)

Ahh, gardening. The reason it's dangerous for me to walk into any place with a garden center in the spring/summer season. Particularly when they have plants (jalepenos, lavender, etc.) that I've not had much luck starting from seed this year. And blueberries. And stevia, which I haven't found in plant form for several years. And, hey, we even found the shims which were the reason we actually went there in the first place!

Once home we used the shims to level the very-slightly-off-level fountain, and then while Wonderful Husband went and did responsible grocery shopping things, I put my potted herbs in the bed around the fountain: two lemon thymes, oregano, common chives, garlic chives, ginger, the aforementioned stevia, some cilantro seed while I was at it, and the dill and Italian parsley plugs I'd started earlier this year. I also planted one of my volunteer tomatoes, two plugs of basil, my sole surviving Swiss chard, two purchased habeneros, and seventeen walking onion starts. Then came covering everything with straw mulch and watering it. And digging around where I'd had less than successful potato plants last year and scrabbling up what I could find in the way of survivors; I currently have two pots of potato plants going and they're doing much better than the in-ground ones did. I need to chit the taters I found today before putting them in pots. And I upgraded as many tomato plugs as I had 4" pots.

So currently the hoses are coiled away, the walk is swept, and I have jalepeno, squash, and melon plants I'm hoping to get in the ground before Mara turns up tomorrow morning, as well as a pair each of blueberries and lavender to put in pots.

First, though, foot rubs.
