Finished watching season 1 of Sherlock with Wonderful Husband. Led to conversations about what I can't hear in British accents sometimes (which is reciprocal; sometimes Wonderful Husband can't hear nuances in American accents), and old British children's television shows.

How long until the next season starts?

Filming for season 2 begins next week, they're doing script run-throughs right now. So sometime in the fall - they haven't given us any dates, though I'd bet it'd be about the same time the first season originally aired.

i've been told September, but BBC is really bad at telling people about new shows and such so..... *shrugs* this year. sometime.

BBC America just needs to overdub their programming to help with viewer auditory comprehension. Give characters a wider set of accents. For example, one Cockney, another Pikey, and the third Scottish. Even if all of them are Welsh.
