I'm amused at how something that one person loathes another can really not care about. Specifically, on our flight home stitchy (who, as her LJ nick implies, is a fellow embroiderer) looked at the tablecloth that's my current project and commented on her deep, eternal loathing of lazy daisy stitches. I don't think there's actually any embroidery stitch I dislike. That said, I just finished the last of the lazy daisies on this, so no more for now.

You see, this is why I do not craft. I would be universally loathed. :) I'm just proud I can knit a scarf (or at least I can when I don't lose my g-d needle and my husband isn't steeling my yarn)

Every time I teach embroidery, that's the one stitch I get asked for. So it seems you're not alone in having difficulty with them. :)
