Elementary, My Dear...
Mar. 30th, 2011 09:01 amSo Wonderful Husband has been wanting to watch the recent Sherlock series, which he got for Christmas. I put him off on Monday since I needed to be using the sewing machine, but last night we sat down to watch the first episode, me with a lapful of fabric as I was sewing the zipper and hook and eyes on for the costume's underdress.
(Him: You hate sewing zippers by hand.
Me: I hate sewing them by machine even more.)
Sherlock was, in fact, very very good, and Wonderful Husband figured out whodunnit a few minutes before the audience was supposed to. And the underdress is now finished (hallelujah!). And then I made salsa and Montezuma's Revenge dip since I'm supposed to bring in healthy/salty snacks for my writing class tonight. And put a loaf of bread in to bake overnight, and went to bed. After midnight. But miraculously got up on time this morning and did a bunch more stuff before going in to work.
Which means I'm going to crash hard tonight....
