So the last edit session I had in my writing class, I got shredded.

This week, barely anything got touched. The biggest debate was over whether or not to capitalize a job title I'd made up.

So I went home and started reading a new book. Got over a hundred pages in before unconsciousness occurred. Expect book report either today or tomorrow.

For some reason, I read that as "So I went home and started writing a new book" - I was pretty impressed with 100 pages' writing and totally unsurprised that unconsciousness was the result!
Then I read it again ;)

What job title was it? ^^

"Weatherwise." Kanna, up in her tower, with the maps. I've got my class up to the end of chapter 7 now.

And, no, sadly I'm nowhere near that good. I'm itching to do another writing-centric month, but it looks like my next two months are going to be devoted to sewing costumes. :/

But cosplay is love! Or so I was told ;)

I'd capitalise it, personally. What was the consensus?

Mixed. I think I'm going to treat it like I would any other title: if it's being used as part of or in place of a name, I'll capitalize it; if it's being used as a job description, I'll lower case it. Our class has had LOTS of debates on when and when not to capitalize things... especially the word "queen." I am not the only one writing fantasy. :)

Yep, that's something I've come across quite a bit too. There are distinct advantages to comics, one of which is writing in all capitals ;)

Amusingly, the all caps are something I don't care for that much about comics. Don't know why; it's probably just my innate prejudices as a text writer. Maybe it's the fact that it takes some of the subtleties out of words that bugs me, though I do admit the simplicity sometimes appeals.

I used to use a 'proper' font, but you can get so much more text in using a comic font and all caps (and even so I have to trim my scripts ;_; ). I like my words, which is probably a failing in a comicker ;)
