As per the votes from my friends and family (hi Mom! you actually logged in and posted!), I submitted forms to Costume College offering to teach blackwork, working with steel boning, and how to make period-accurate medieval garb. If all goes as in past years, I won't know what I'm actually going to teach until I get my packet asking me to pick out what classes I want to attend. :) Slightly sad, but sadly serious.

In unrelated news, I met

femme4jack and her parents and two sons today. The event was interrupted by Sushi deciding to follow a new friend of his (neighborhood cat, with whom he was apparently getting along fine) over the fence into the park. Which involved Wonderful Husband boosting me over the fence into the park, Sushi scaling the wall back into our yard on his own, and me having to walk around the block to get back home. Idiot cat. But we had fun chatting and talking writing and fandom and such, and may be meeting up tomorrow as well.
