Story of a Morning
Feb. 5th, 2011 01:56 pm7:12a.m.: Wonderful Husband nudges me awake. "Kristin, I think your alarm went off..."
I... don't think I've ever actually slept through my alarm clock before. @.@;; I also don't think I was exceptionally tired last night, so I've no explanation. But I got up and went to belly dance class with my new hip belt (and next week we get to play with scarves!) and then dutifully went to one of the few Quest Diagnostics open on a Saturday to get my blood taken.
And proceeded to wait for two and a quarter hours. My own fault for not grabbing a book on the way out the door.
And then I discovered that of the two blood samples I needed taken (two different doctors), one needed me to fast. Which was not marked on the paperwork.
Fortunately the one that needed to be taken today, or else wait another month, was fine.
So I have to not have breakfast on Monday, and get blood taken before work, since I have an appointment with the doctor on Thursday.
And then the first vein the nurse tried didn't work.
(Which is a first; I have very good veins.)
So she tried the other arm, and it was fine.
And then I came home to find Wonderful Husband doing spring cleaning! I love this man.
