sakon76Drove up to Liz's last night for our not-quite-every-week sewing night, and got some work done on one of my long-abandoned WIPs, a Chinese-style pyjama top in kanji-printed flannel. Drove back a bit early and more or less crashed.
I was awoken at something before 7am (when the alarm goes off and when I usually get up even if it isn't) by Paris scratching at the door, so I got up and fed the kitties, after chiding them for following me into the restroom. Do I bug them when they're going about their business?
Even though it's still pretty early in the day, it smells like someone's already started cooking somewhere in the housing complex. Might as well wash up last night's dishes and start pulling ingredients out....
EDIT: Cranberry relish, cornbread, and succotash all done with half an hour to go before heading over to my parents'. Additionally, all dishes have been washed up and put away save for the cast iron pan, which I'll wash later, after it's cooled down. Oh, and my feet hurt. :) May need to add a gel mat for the kitchen to my Christmas list....
