Yesterday: voted. Worked. Went up to the Block to meet Wonderful Husband for dinner. Used my "I Voted" sticker to get free (plain glazed, not red-white-and-blue star-shaped sprinkled because they didn't have any) donut at Krispy Kreme, which I gave to Wonderful Husband. Stood in line at Ben & Jerry's for a half hour to get a free ice cream; eventually gave up. Drove back home to go to dance class, except for the part where my car died coming off the freeway. A couple of nice young men helped me push it into the nearest parking lot, where I called (1) Wonderful Husband to come pick me up, (2) AAA for a tow truck driver, (3) my uncle the mechanic to let him know my car would be sitting in front of his shop in the a.m., and (4) my parents to borrow the spare car. Waited a half hour for the tow truck driver, got a call telling me it would be another half hour, cancelled in favor of going to last dance class. Danced. Called tow truck again and this time they actually showed up when they said they would. Went home, looked at election results, showered, went to bed. Was woken briefly a few hours later when Wonderful Husband came to bed all chilly.

Woke up to find it looks like I got most of what I cared about in the election, which was the Presidency and Props. 2 & 4. Did not get 8, which vexes me, but I figure it'll get challenged and slapped down eventually. Prop. 1A seems to've passed, which amuses me but was not something near and dear to my heart. Had brekky, picked up spare car, dropped off car key, went to work.
