sakon76I finally seem to be attracting the attention of all the stupid fangirls online. Doesn't bother me--they've been after Starshadow for eight of the nine years I've known her. Plus I have more knowledge than the stupid fangirls of the series I write for, the romanization system I chose to use, and basic 'Netiquette, as well as a better control of the English language. I intend to use these tools with a severity proportional to how highly their mails annoy me. Raar.
Half my betas for The Novel are disappearing off to Otakon this w/e. Mwa, wish I could go see them in person. Ah well. One of them gave me an insight into chapter 2, commenting that it seemed to be set Renaissance-ish rather than the standard vague medieval period. This is interesting to me because while when I picture Marin I tend to see her in something vaugely 1400s with an ankle-length vest over it, Kitty, who is the focus of chapter 2, appears to me dressed in something lower middle class Elizabethan (Renfaire style). Apparently these inner visions come off in my writing.
