Salad Source!
May. 30th, 2008 11:06 amPumpkin plants trying to take over garden plot. Am temporarily styming them by redirecting them back into the corn area and additionally starting to wind them up trellises intended for the melon plants. Have silk on some of my corn stalks now! Harvested lettuce and mustard leaves yesterday as well as a couple radishes and some sugar snap peas from the home postage stamp patch, and had half-homegrown salad for dinner last night (the half-tomato and the carrot being store-bought). Was gleeful and pleased about this.
Don't know quite what I did, but standing on my left foot gives the distinct impression of standing on a knife crossing the foot just between the heel and the arch. Ow.

Date: 2008-05-30 07:19 pm (UTC)I did put a couple of nasturtium leaves in last night's salad. They dominated the scent but not the taste.
