sakon76Fiance's family is starting to get upset now that things are coming down to the wire and his visa interview is tomorrow. *sigh* We knew that whichever way things went, someone was going to be unhappy. It still feels horrible. And a part of me is saying that I shouldn't be paying attention to my outside life right now and should concentrate on The Novel instead, but the rest of me responds that outside life is more important and that everything in The Novel is drawn from my experiences of outside life anyway, so will that one part kindly shut up.
Max and Owen's backstories are starting to shape up, but the Fox send me chapter 1 comments earlier tonight and she's right--I'm writing far too passively right now. Which means I need to boot Max and Owen out of the garden and let them prove their natures in action rather than introspection.
And at some point I'm going to need to write in the horses. This would be a much easier task if I actually knew anything about horses.
Less than forty-eight hours before I know in what country the rest of my life will be spent....
