The last three tomatoes have been put in my plot at the community garden. This means I have eight tomato plants going over there. Eight! Either they're all going to fail miserably, or I'm going to end up drowning in tomatoes. I'm kind of hoping for the latter. And it sounds stupid, but I swear that the corn has shot up an inch since I planted it Sunday. The habeneros are also looking slightly taller than they did before.

Also potted up three geraniums (two from cuttings; I hope they take) and transferred potting soil into a long, shallow pot. Will put scarlet runner bean seeds in it come morning. In the meantime, the seeds I've been starting in damp paper towels in ziploc bags seem to be sprouting; the basil, at the very least, is showing green leaves and I suspect the edamame is starting to sprout as well. Also, have discovered that some of the fancy 'taters that I got from the Farmer's Market seem to've sprouted, so I'm trying to figure out where in the garden I could put them... ^^;;

I'm not obsessed, really. It's just springtime.

Yay! This seems to be the year for tomatoes, since our single plant has something like 8 blossoms on it. I think our other major crop is going to be mint and peppers, assuming the cats don't eat 'em.

I definitely want pics of your garden; I kind of miss the old plot in Goleta.
