Ooh, new restriction levels!

Just read the new flaggings on lj. I appreciate that they're letting the posters and readers decide for themselves on this, and I probably won't be flagging much of my content. Because, frankly, ~95% of this journal wouldn't even rate a PG-13. I suppose the slash stuff might raise conservative eyebrows, but even 90% of that is shounen-ai rather than yaoi. It's certainly nothing I would feel ashamed of a twelve-year-old reading.

I still think, though, that "explicit adult content" should refer to discussions about politics and paying taxes. :)
