Is it truly pathetic to take a sense of accomplishment from the simple task of getting a decent dinner on the table every night? I swear it must be. Last night: spaghetti. Tonight: curry. Tomorrow: French herb chicken.

Dealt with a few dozen trick'r'treaters last night while reading more Kitchen Princess, the new issue of "Tea Time," listening to Tony Banks' "Seven" (one of the prettiest albums I own) and watching Transformers: Beginnings. I was... partly amused by that last one, partly derisive. I caught at least one major continuity error which, while a nice reference to G1, had me burst out laughing. And Mark Ryan's voice sounded slightly different from his (whole two lines of) performance in the film, though I can't figure out just why. Ended up with a whole grocery bag still of candy, though, which I forgot to bring in to work this morning. -_-#

"Tea Time" had a nice article on the Williamsburg reenactors, as well as one on holiday carolling, which made me vaguely inclined to participate in the CGW's carolling this year, but we shall see. It will depend, I suspect, on what the dress code is.

I also might have figured out what kind of story the title "Technophilia" wants to be associated with after reading Dwimordene's "Objects in Mirror" over at ff.net. It is, thank goodness, not something deserving of an "adult" rating. (I am, BTW, with the Calvinists as in "Calvin and Hobbes" in believing that "adult" activities really should refer to paying bills.) I find myself still stumped on what kind of story "Arribada" wants to be, though....
