Fiance is not leaving god-ass early Wednesday morning.

He is leaving god-ass early *tomorrow* morning.

Not happy 'bout this. Thank goodness, at least, that he called the airline to confirm his flight info today rather than tomorrow.

Going out to nice dinner in a bit.

Picked up manga whilst galivanting this afternoon. Bronze 12--as much as I hurt my characters, I am a drop in the ocean to Minami Ozaki. DNAngel 9--no question about baiting the shounen-ai fans, but it's sweet and innocent with just a hint of angst. Shounen Jump 33--hmm, if that is the end, it's not a bad end, but H. never told A. about everything! I had really thought the manga was building up to end on that. :/

I think Hotta and Obana decided to leave Hikaru telling Akira about Sai open to fan speculation. As well as Hikaru's future in Go, and who he ends up with romantically.

I'm kinda glad they *didn't* have H tell A about S. It would have majorly kiboshed the series I have in the planning stages, since the Big Revelation is the cornerstone of the whole first story.

And if they had included a "here's where the characters are 10 years down the line!" thing that had Hikaru married to or about to marry Akari, the chaos in the fandom, which seems to be at least 50% yaoi-based, would have been unimaginable.

I actually can't see Hikaru ending up with Akari. She's just fallen to the wayside of his life; their paths now just seem too different.
