sakon76Awake again. Discovered the pleasant surprise that Wonderful Husband actually unpacked our luggage last night! Wonderful, wonderful, Wonderful Husband! And so I have nested the luggages back together and put them in their place, hopefully signalling to the kittycat that we are home again and staying for a while. Have written out the shopping list (...had forgotten we had no milk when we left; fortunately we have a kettle and instant oatmeal for breakfast... --;;) and watered the garden, begun the process of tidying up a bit, and in looking at my collection of con badges from '05 through '07, hung on my wall next to my desk, begin to think I should dig out all my older ones as well and find a better way of organizing them.
I don't mind sharing hotel rooms with friends, but oh how nice it was to sink once again into our own bed last night, which is a size bigger than the standard hotel bed, with a mattress solidity level that I'm familiar with, and not have to even worry about whether or not I was inadverdently flashing anyone....
