It's Friday, two hours to go until quittin' time. I am caught up and screamingly bored out of my skull. I knew I would be, as I'm not letting myself do anything that might get in the way of my arm healing itself, so no packet stuffing, no embroidery... I brought in some craft [quilt] magazines to flip through, but I tend to go through old stuff periodically so they're not as unfamiliar to me as they might be.

(Huh, that's a thought--I should go through my old issues of Bon Appetit and Gourmet sometime to find the recipes I want to pull from them, as they're on my "not worth the space of storage" list, being more or less not in my cooking style.)

Anyway. Screamingly bored. Can't write fic, as it's on my home PC. Can't sew, can't dance, can't do anything but sit at my desk and answer the increasingly rare phone calls. I'm beginning to get cabin fever; I find myself thinking about buying a jump rope, and roller blades, and a swimsuit... and probably not using all three at once. For one, I don't think the Homeowners Association has a very benign view on rollerblading in the pool. For another, I'm just uncoordinated enough that the rope would get caught in the wheels. Ah well, there goes that plan, on to inventing another....
