sakon76LXG: fun! Not the greatest cinematic work ever, but a fun romp through the characters of several works of literature. Best exchange (re: Dorian Gray): "What are you?!" "I'm complicated." Liked Tom Sawyer. Was somewhat shocked to discover that British fiance has NEVER read any Mark Twain works. They're such a large part of my cultural background that... well... just can't imagine never having read any of the stories. Must see about picking up the TPBs of the comic and perhaps the book of the movie as well. Skimmed pages while in the bookstore and it seemed like the author was having fun writing it and dragging in more literary works. ^^
