Mostly domestic stuffs, for myself
Mar. 14th, 2007 10:22 amTrying to collect my scattered thoughts seems a bit like chasing after pingpong balls.
I know there are a ton of things I need to be doing at home. Catching up on laundry/dishes backlog. Finishing wedding dress mockup (worked on it last night, will work on it tonight as well). Finishing the five or so other sewing projects I want done before month's end. Figuring out what I'm wearing in Japan. Figuring out what I'm /doing/ in Japan. Catching up on blog/summary translations and polishing off the episode translations. Cleaning the house.
So, I guess I should calm my frazzled nerves (you know, the ones going "Do this and that and that and this other thing and that one too ALL RIGHT NOW!") by listing out what I *have* gotten done.
(1) I have dinner thawing at home. This should not seem like a victory, but it does.
(2) outer layer of blue short stays is complete
(3) initial wedding dress mockup is half sewn
(4) it won't kill anyone if I don't get caught up on blogs
(5) I'm confirmed as a judge for AX Masquerade Ball.
(6) I've got everyone more or less to agree on a date/time for the maiko makeup thing, so all I need to do is make the reservation.
(7) I've decided not to worry about the Kyoto Costume Institute. It's not that vital to me to be able to browse their collection database.
(8) I've printed out various people's rough itinerary plans, so can draft an itinerary of our own for Wonderful Husband and myself.
There, calmer now. So, to do tonight, I guess....
(2) make dinner
(3) clean pots/pans, return kitchen to state of cleanliness
(4) call
(5) finish up clothing laundry; wash batiste and cloak fabric, each separately
(6) finish up wedding dress mockup
(7) cut out interfacing layer and possibly lining as well for short stays
(8) hammer out Japan initerary with Wonderful Husband
(10) translate summary, catch up on Hirata and Watanabe's blogs
(12) pay bills, including ebay auction
