Kitten report

I think the kitten (now dubbed "Ash" because Wonderful Husband has an interesting, perverse sense of humor) has decided that I = Mama. I say this because the scrawny little black tit-hugger (so called because my sister has a wonderfully descriptive way with words) is currently sitting on the shelf of my chest as I lean back in my desk chair, licking me, nuzzling me under the chin, scent-marking me, and purring. This being a bit of a departure from Ash's rather timid, placid behavior of the last twenty-four hours, I think it's safe to say he's domesticable.

Of course, he does not yet know that I picked up kitty shampoo on the way home and plan to bathe him this evening....

I also picked up a trap after I got off of work and went back and baited it. None of us at the office saw the other two kittens today, but hopefully they'll be hungry little sootball strays....
