Gaaaah!

Okay, so the plan was to get caught up on Ultraman Moebius before episode 29 becomes available to download sometime tomorrow morning, so that I can geek in tandem with hoshikage and sandpanther about it. The plan has been successfully accomplished. Except that this involved watching the trailer for 29. And now I understand why they were wailing about it last weekend. Because it looks to be the episode of much awesomeness. And angst. And nasty evil things being done to the audience by the writers. We're already pretty darn sure it's going to be a cliffhanger ending. And so, wanting to see when it would be airing in Japan (roughly four hours from, oh, NOW) I went to the hicbc site. And read the next episode description in Japanese.

And HAULED out my New Nelson's so fast I think the poor book has whiplash, just to double-check my translation. Last two sentences of the description?

Shunkan, Mirai ga ita basho wo tsuyoi hikari ga kurumi, Ryuu wa shikai wo ubawareru. Me wo aketa toki soko ni ita no wa, Ultraman Moebius datta! -- "For an instant, Mirai is wrapped in a brilliant light that robs Ryu of his vision. When he opens his eyes, Ultraman Moebius is there!"
